It's FRIDAY!!!!!!!!

Did you ever have some weeks when you forget what day of the week it is? Trust me. That doesn't happen on a Habitat build. By Friday we're all counting down the hours until we can relax for the weekend.

The ladies crew is happy to report the windows we put in today went smoother than in any other builds we've done. In fact we were wishing the guys working on the rafters would hurry up and finish so we could get on with it. Their crew is more than happy to report all the rafters are now in place and roof work will begin in earnest next week. The bottom photo is the job site as we left it. (I just checked last year's blog and we're further ahead than we were at this time last year. Of course, the house is a little smaller so perhaps that has something to do with it.)

The other photo? The school treated us to lunch today with chili made by the students. It was delicious so, in spite of the sign on the door, I don't think we were an experiment.
